What precautions should I take before an MRI scan?
Make sure you listen to all the instructions that the doctors are giving you, and you also need to see to the following:
- Remove all metal ornaments and objects before entering the scan.
- Tell the doctor if you have any implants in your body from any surgeries you may have.
- If you are pregnant, let the doctor know.

- If you have claustrophobia, tell the doctor so that they can give you sedatives before the scan.
- Ask for earmuffs or buds if the machine is too loud for you.
