A portable X-ray may be considered helpful for patients who have difficulty moving around or those who are recovering at home and would need an imaging test. The technician will set up the machine and give the patient the needed information before the test is performed. Depending on the doctor’s request, an X-ray may be used to examine bones, joints, the chest, or other areas. After the images are taken, they are reviewed by a qualified doctor or radiologist as advised.
